On January 16, 2020, at 4.00 p.m., at the Pak Pian Meeting Room, 5th floor, Chulabhorn Building, Department of Fisheries, Thailand, Dr. Vicharn Ingsrisawang, Deputy Director-General of the Department of Fisheries, presided over a video conference meeting on The assessment results of fishing nets using the Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) standards between the Department of Fisheries, The Thai Tuna Industry Association, and auditors of the Key Traceability Company, England.

The meeting aims to utilize the information for improving the initial assessment as well as establishing an action plan for the improvement and development of longtail tuna (Thunnus tonggol) fishing nets.
