On December 19, 2019, at 9:30 a.m., Mr. Thaworn Jirasophonrak, Deputy Director-General of the Department of Fisheries, Chaired a meeting to discuss the establishment of "Lancang-Mekong Fisheries and Aquatic Ecology Cooperation Working Group Program" to preserve aquatic animal resources along the Lancang-Mekong River between Thailand and the People's Republic of China, as well as among Lancang-Mekong countries.

The cooperation led by the People's Republic of China, Mr. Dong Jinhe, with the experts and the director of the Department of Fisheries, including relevant the Department of Fisheries officials, attended this meeting at the Tuna meeting room, 6th floor, Chulabhorn Building, Department of Fisheries, Bangkok, Thailand.
