On 10 October 2019, Mr. Mesak Pakdeekong, Director-General of the Department of Fisheries along with the Department of Fisheries officials, welcomed Mr. Steve Trent, Executive Director of the Environmental Justice Foundation's (EJF), and the delegation of European Union. To discuss Thai fishing and strengthen cooperation on the development of Thailand's proper and sustainable fisheries.
