2.“2nd Workshop on Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for the Live Movement of Aquatic Animals in ASEAN” on 27 Octoer 2014 at Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam


Funding: USAID Maximizing Agricultural Revenue through Knowledge, Enterprise Development and Trade Project (USAID-MARKET)


Organization: ANAAHC, USAID-MARKET and Network of Aquaculture Centres in Asia-Pacific (NACA)


Participant: 20 from 7 ASEAN member country, NACA, USAID-MARKET and private sector


Objective: To obtain the 2nd draft of SOP

1.“3rd Workshop on Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for the Live Movement of Aquatic Animals in ASEAN” 25-26 February 2015 at Grand Center Point Hotel, Bangkok, Thailand


Funding: USAID Maximizing Agricultural Revenue through Knowledge, Enterprise Development and Trade Project (USAID-MARKET)


Organization: ANAAHC, USAID-MARKET and Network of Aquaculture Centres in Asia-Pacific (NACA)


Participant: 35 from ANAAHC focal points, internation and regional experts from NACA, Reseach Institute No 1 (RIA1), University of Arizona/Nong Lam University, Southeast Asian Fisheries Development Center Aquaculture Division (SEAFDEC AQD) and private sector


Objective: To obtain the final draft of SOP

 

2.“The meeting in Fisheries Conference and Partnership Arrangement in the Indonesia-Malaysia-Thailand Growth Triangle (IMT-GT) on Harmonization of Live Aquatic Animal Health Certificate in ASEAN” 21-22 May 2015 at BP Samila Beach Hotel, Songkhla, Thailand.


Organization: Department of Fisheries, Thailand and ANAAHC


Participant: 50 from government officials and private sectors in Thailand and Indonesia, ANAAHC focal point from Indonesia and Thailand, IAAHRI and CAAHRI staff.


Objective: To harmonize the aquatic animal health certificate among IMT country, in order to obtain the preliminary information for further harmonization of the health certificate in ASEAN. 

 

3.During the the 23rd Meeting of the ASEAN Sectoral Working Group on Fisheries (ASWGFi) on 10-12 June 2015 at Nay Pyi Taw, Myanmar, the final draft of “Standard Operating Procedures for Responsible Movement of Live Aquatic Animal for ASEAN” was endorsed by the SOM-AMAF.
