On 5 August 2020, Thai representatives headed by Mr. Pisan Pongsapitch, Deputy Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives attended the Special Senior Officials Meeting of SOM-41st AMAF via VDO conference at the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives. To strengthen regional collaboration against IUU fishing, the Meeting agreed that Thailand will serve as the AN-IUU Network centre, host AN-IUU online interactive platform and hold the 1st Meeting of AN-IUU National Focal Point in December 2020.
